Our Mission

Our mission is to actively promote and facilitate the personal growth and well-being of Maryville students through psychosocial support, education, and intervention in a safe and confidential environment.

Diversity and Inclusion

The Counseling Center is committed to Maryville’s core value of diversity and inclusion. We seek to provide sensitive and culturally competent services to all Maryville students. We believe that discrimination and prejudice are antithetical to our mission of promoting student well-being, and thus we aim to create an inclusive environment in which all feel welcome and respected. We are also committed to the ongoing process of educating ourselves and deepening our knowledge of human diversity.
