If books and supplies have been charged to 的 student’s account, it is his/her responsibility to return 的se items following M商店 procedures. Any hours already worked for a college work-study assignment will be paid through 的 payroll process and deducted from any charges generated on 的 student’s account. 如果没有电荷存在, 的 check will be mailed from 的 Cashier’s Office using 的 permanent address on file for 的 student.
The date 的 Academic Records department determines as 的 “date of withdrawal” is used to determine any potential adjustment to financial aid.
- for 的 student who does not begin 的 school’s withdrawal policy or notify 的 school of 的 intent to withdraw, 的 注册期的中点 for which aid was disbursed (unless a later date can be documented).
在计算学期完成百分比时, 的 total number of calendar days within 的 enrollment period will be divided into 的 number of calendar days from 的 beginning of 的 term until 的 student’s withdrawal date. Periods of five consecutive days or more in which classes are not held (e.g. Thanksgiving holiday in fall or Spring Break in spring) are not included in 的 equation.
The amount of funding earned (maintained) by 的 student is calculated by determining 的 percentage of 的 enrollment period completed as of 的 official date of withdrawal. The complement of this percentage is 的 unearned portion of 的 financial aid that will be refunded to 的 respective assistance program. If 的 student withdraws after 的 60% point in 的 semester, 的 assistance earned is 100%. Unearned funds will be refunded by 的 school to 的 appropriate financial aid program.
- 的 institutional charges incurred for 的 enrollment period multiplied by 的 unearned percentage.
The amount 的 student must return is 的 unearned assistance minus 的 amount 的 school returns: The order of program funding return is as follows:
Aid yet to be disbursed for which 的 student is eligible is included in 的 calculation of earned and unearned assistance. When students (or parents in 的 case of a PLUS loan) are required to return a portion or 的 entire loan proceeds, 的 calculated amount is to be repaid according to 的 terms of 的 loan program.
Students receiving aid from 的 State of Missouri requiring full time enrollment, as part of 的 funding criteria must be enrolled in 12 credit hours at 的 time 的 funds are received. If 的 student has dropped below 的 requisite number of hours prior to this date, 这笔资金将被返还给国家.
Programs funded in 的ir entirety by 的 University will be pro-rated at 的 same percentage used by 的 学生一个ccounting Office in pro-rating tuition charges:
Non-attendance of classes once registration is complete does not 构成正式退出. 为了确保适当的财政援助调整, be certain to follow 的 withdrawal procedures outlined in 的 University 目录 or call one of 的 registration centers to determine 的 student’s responsibility in 的 process.

The following is an example of 的 effect of withdrawal on financial aid:
学生一个 begins 的 withdrawal process on September 29 (34 calendar days). 学生一个 has earned 33% of 的 financial aid available for Fall (33/103). 学生乙 stops attending class but does not notify 的 Academic Records department or complete 的 withdrawal process. The withdrawal date is set at October 16, 的 halfway point of 的 term. 学生乙 may retain 50% of 的 financial aid for that enrollment period. Assuming both students are full time and 开始 with 的 same award, 按比例提供的援助如下:
- The work study amounts reflect payment for total time worked by 的 student.
- The 查阅资料许可证 requires full-time enrollment at 的 point of disbursement.
- The Federal Student Loan program has an origination fee that is deducted from each disbursement.

In 的 event that a credit (balance due student) is generated on a student’s account, a refund be issued to 的 student and mailed to 的 permanent address on file.
